Lac La Martre Adventures, owned and operated by Tłı̨chǫ Adventures Ltd. (a subsidiary of the Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation), is a 100% Indigenous-owned fly-in fishing lodge on Clemy Island in the middle of Lac La Martre, the third-largest lake in the Northwest Territories. Accessible by air from Yellowknife and by boat from Whatì, the lodge offers an unparalleled trophy fishing and wilderness experience from June to October.
Guests stay in cozy, newly renovated private cabins with ensuite bathrooms, accommodating a total of 20 guests between 9 cabins. The main lodge provides home-style meals, Starlink Wi-Fi, a firepit, and space for relaxation or entertaining corporate retreats.
Lac La Martre Adventures combines world-class fishing with outdoor activities, including canoeing, paddleboarding, hiking, and opportunities to learn more about Tłı̨chǫ history, languages and traditions. Known for exceptional hospitality, the lodge has earned praise for its warm staff, comfortable accommodations, and newly famed cinnamon buns.
We are committed to hiring and training Tłı̨chǫ citizens, supporting local economic development, and sharing Tłı̨chǫ history, language and traditions with guests. With a focus on service, safety, and environmental stewardship, we aim to provide unforgettable experiences while honoring the land and its people.
