Location: Behchokǫ̀, NT | Permanent, Full-Time Position
Tłı̨chǫ Property Management (TPM), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation (TIC), is seeking a highly organized and motivated Office Administrator to support day-to-day operations in our regional headquarters in Behchokǫ̀, NT.
TPM proudly owns, leases, and manages a variety of commercial and residential properties across the four Tłı̨chǫ communities: Behchokǫ̀, Whatì, Gamètì, and Wekweetì. As part of the larger Tłı̨chǫ Group of Companies, our work helps build and support strong, self-sufficient northern communities.
Position Overview
As the Office Administrator, you’ll be the key point of contact and support across multiple TIC companies based in Behchokǫ̀ — including Tłı̨chǫ Community Builders, Tłı̨chǫ Property Management, and Tłı̨chǫ Equipment Ltd. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring efficient office operations, team coordination, and administrative excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the central contact for clients, vendors, and staff
- Manage work orders, input data, and track progress
- Collect payments, issue receipts, and reconcile invoices
- Organize travel logistics and maintain shared calendars
- Prepare and submit reports, expense claims, and timecards
- Maintain organized filing systems (both digital and physical)
- Support onboarding of new staff and student workers
- Track and manage inventory for office and maintenance supplies
- Coordinate mail, deliveries, and supplies
- Assist with construction documentation and safety binders
- Log and track company vehicle use and assignments
- Provide backup support for team members during absences
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across TIC companies
- Use Safety Evolution software for reporting and assist others in using the platform
- Other duties as required to support a collaborative and efficient workplace
What You Bring
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), QuickBooks, and work order software (Yardi preferred)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines independently
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter with a team-oriented attitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to act neutrally when supporting multiple companies or communities
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; post-secondary training in office administration is an asset
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar administrative role
- Experience working in northern or Indigenous communities considered an asset
