Tłı̨chǫ BBE

Heading: Tłı̨chǫ BBE

Northern Logistics. Local Partnership. Proven Expertise.

Tłı̨chǫ BBE combines Tłı̨chǫ regional knowledge, relationships and economic participation with BBE’s five decades of Northern logistics experience.

The relationship began in 2018, when BBE worked alongside Tłı̨chǫ trucking companies, and was formalized as a joint venture in 2021. What began largely through lubricant supply and transportation has grown into a broader logistics partnership supporting complex Northern operations.

BBE has operated in Canada’s North since 1977, beginning in Yellowknife and growing into an integrated logistics company supporting mining, energy, construction, government and other remote operations. Its capabilities span freight forwarding, project logistics, procurement, customs brokerage, warehousing, aviation and multimodal transportation.

Supporting Northern Mining

Mining has been an important part of the Tłı̨chǫ BBE story.

The partnership has supported lubricant supply for De Beers mining operations and provided logistics and product-supply services supporting major Northwest Territories mining operations including Ekati and Diavik.

Through BBE, customers have access to Mobil™ lubricants and specialty fluids backed by an integrated Northern distribution and logistics network. BBE is an authorized Mobil™ distributor and achieved Gold Tier status in the Mobil Circle of Excellence program, recognizing performance across sales, operations and service.

Combining product supply with transportation, warehousing and seasonal logistics planning helps customers manage critical inventory and reduce the risk of disruption at remote sites.
