On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Gruner to the position of Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) for the Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation, beginning October 23, 2023.

Paul is a familiar face to many. Having been in the role of President and CEO of Det’on Cho Management LP, he led the company to produce consistently exceptional results during his five-year tenure. Most recently since his departure from Det’on Cho, Paul has held the role as Tahltan Nation Development Corporation’s CEO.

Tłı̨chǫ Property Management is looking for an experienced, organized, reliable, and dependable worker to join our team as the Property Management Coordinator located in Behchokǫ̀, NT. 

Reports to: Operations Superintendent

Term: Part-Time Permanent, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm, and Monday-Sunday on-call outside working hours for Behchokǫ̀ Motel emergencies, no 4-hour call outs.

Location: Behchokǫ̀, NT

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Edzo Airport

The Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and dependable individual to join our team as Human Resources Officer (six-month term position available with the possibility of leading to permanent full time employment). Although primarily focused on recruitment activities to support the recruitment for eleven companies, the Human Resources Officer will also contribute their knowledge and skills in the field of Human Resources, to other activities to include employee relations and recognition, employee engagement and benefits administration.

Limited competition for Tłı̨chǫ Community residents only.

Lac La Martre Adventures is owned by Tłı̨chǫ Adventures Ltd. (a subsidiary of Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation). This remote fly-in fishing lodge is located on its own island on Lac La Martre; in the Northwest Territories.

We are a small collaborative team with a goal of providing excellent experiences to guests engaging in a remote wilderness adventure.

Monday Safety Share #18 - Slips, Trips, & Falls.

Slips, trips, and falls are a major source of workplace injuries in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut every year. Between 2017 and 2021, over 20% of WSCC claims were caused by slips, trips, and falls. Falls caused by slips and trips often lead to sprains and strains. In the worst cases, these incidents can result in traumatic injuries.
