As COVID-19 had other plans for us last Fall with being able to get our Tlicho Youth Mentorship Program off the ground, we are so excited to announce our re-vamped Tłı̨chǫ Youth Mentorship and Summer Student Work program!

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to gain some valuable work experience, while learning and growing through the knowledge and skills of our experienced team member mentors.

The Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation (TIC) has 100% ownership of three retail stores and motels, and operates a petroleum, oil , lubricant division (community fuel delivery/gas station) in each of the beautiful Tłı̨chǫ communities of Whatì, Gamètì, and Wekweètì.  We are looking to build our management team within those communities and are sourcing applicants for the following role , located in Wekweètì, NT.

Security Guard

Responsibilities: 

• Monitoring surveillance equipment and patrolling company property.
• Minor janitorial duties (nightly cleaning of job shack).

Requirements:

Tłı̨chǫ Engineering and Environmental Services Ltd. (TEES) is a COR certified and is 100% Indigenous Owned by the Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation (TIC). We are currently looking for a dedicated and talented professional to join the team as Superintendent. 

We are very happy to announce that the Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation & Group of Companies has been selected by the Yukon First Nation Chamber of Commerce as Top Indigenous Business of the Year for the Northwest Territory region. It was awarded on Thursday night at the Arctic Indigenous Investment Conference in Whitehorse.

Tłı̨chǫ Firefighting Services (TFS) is 100% Indigenous Owned by Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation. We are currently looking to build our pool of candidates for our seasonal firefighting project located in the four Tłı̨chǫ communities: Behchokǫ̀, Whatì, Gamètì, and Wekweètì. 
Type 1 Firefighter/Alternate Firefighter

As part of the TFS team, the Type 1 Firefighter/Alternate Firefighter will report to the Crew Lead.

Responsibilities:

Tłı̨chǫ Retail Operations (TRO) is looking to fill the following positions located in Gamètì, NT.

Motel Cook:

Reporting to the Community Operations Manager Trainee, the Motel Cook will be responsible for providing day to day hospitality and dining services of the community motel while providing a quality hospitality experience and excellent customer service.  You will ensure customer service standards and performance targets are achieved.

We are currently recruiting for the following position located in the beautiful community of Behchokǫ̀, NT:

General Labourer

Reporting to the Property Manager, the General Labourer will assist with the summer season projects in the community of Behchokǫ̀.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and talented professional to join the team as a Project Manager.
