Tłı̨chǫ Property Management is responsible for owning, leasing, sourcing, maintaining, and managing a variety of commercial and residential buildings across the four Tłı̨chǫ communities: Behchokǫ̀, Gamètì, Whatì, and Wekweetì.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team in Behchokǫ̀ for a 1-year term position. This role plays an important part in ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming for all staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean offices, bathrooms, and common areas in various commercial buildings, including the Behchokǫ̀ Motel, Marie Adele Bishop Health Centre, Nishi-Khon Office Complex, and other facilities as required.
- Safely handle, use, and store cleaning products, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning materials and ensure supplies are well-stocked.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and handling of cleaning products.
- WHMIS certification is an asset; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
