Trainees arrived at Ekati for our "Introduction to Mining Program"

Our trainees are currently immersing themselves in the Introduction to the Mining Industry Program hosted at Ekati Diamond Mine. Over this two-week, 120-hour training, participants are gaining hands-on experience in underground and surface mining, mineral processing, mine safety, and more.

Hosted in partnership with Aurora College, Burgundy Diamond Mines, and Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation, the program features expert guest speakers, guided site tours, and an inside look at life in the northern mining industry.
